Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which delivers it for us as our processor. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser identifier, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don't analyse this data and receive no logs with IP addresses. Cloudflare keeps such logs only briefly.

Data may reach the USA in the process. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR); the EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition (Art. 46 GDPR). For Switzerland, the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework applies.

No cookies, no tracking

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads. Fonts and images are served by this website itself, not by third parties such as Google.

Launch notification

If you sign up, a program at Cloudflare (Worker) receives your email address and passes it to Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France), our email processor with servers in the EU. Brevo sends you an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in). Only when you click it is your address added to our waitlist at Brevo. For this, Brevo stores the address and the time of sign-up and confirmation, so that we can prove your consent. If you don't confirm, the address is not added to the list. Nothing is stored on the website itself.

We use the address only to tell you once about the launch of centino (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We don't analyse opens or clicks in our emails. After sending the launch message we delete the waitlist; we keep the proof of consent for as long as we legally need it. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, with the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to support@centino.app.

Emailing us

Our email is hosted by Proton AG (Geneva, Switzerland). The European Commission has found that Switzerland provides an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR). If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply (for questions about a purchase or license to perform the contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete messages once the request is settled, at the latest after three years, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer.

No automated decisions

We make no automated decisions about you and create no profiles.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@centino.app.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Austria the Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at), in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch), or the authority where you live in the EU.
